Our first stop is the stunning Emerald Pool. This mineral pool hidden in the midst of a lush forest is the perfect place to beat the mid-morning heat. Swim in the clear blue green waters and take photos of the picturesque surroundings before we walk along the path to our next destination.
Just short of 500m from the Emerald Pool, the Blue Lagoon is another gorgeous gem in the area surrounded by large, overhanging trees with roots that extend across the water. We’ll spend some time here for photos and simply take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty.
Hot Springs Waterfall: After enjoying a spot of lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll take some time to rest and relax at the Hot Springs Waterfall. With waters reaching up to 42°C from underground volcanic chambers, it is said to be therapeutic and soothing – quite like an all-natural jacuzzi!
Tiger Cave Temple: Our last stop for the day is the majestic Tiger Cave Temple, called Wat Tham Seua by the locals, While the walk to the mountaintop temple may be a bit strenuous (expect a lot of stairs), the view once we reach the top is worth it. Take in the gleaming Buddha statue, see the tiger prints at the cave (hence the temple’s name), and behold spectacular views of Krabi before we make our way back to your accommodation.
